Our campsite combines authentic nature experiences with modern comforts and is ideal for anyone who loves camping in the Black Forest and spending time in the great outdoors – whether you’re staying in a tent, caravan or motorhome.
Dogs are very welcome here, and families with children will also find the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. The stream and the nature trail are real highlights for children who love exploring the great outdoors.
Outdoor enthusiasts will be in their element here: numerous hiking and cycling trails in the Black Forest start right at the campsite. Whether it’s leisurely walks, challenging hikes or trips to the nearby Black Forest National Park – nature begins right on our doorstep.

A third-generation family business
The Natur‑Camping Langenwald has been run by the Eiermann family since 1974 – now in its third generation. Our campsite was established on the historic grounds of the Schleh sawmill, a place long connected to nature and traditional craftsmanship. What began as a small family business has grown into a lovingly developed campsite that combines tradition, closeness to nature, and modern hospitality.

Been quite a few years since I've been here but planning to revisit in 2021. Friendly, family run campsite who humoured my attempts to speak German, immaculately clean toilet/shower facilities, shop on site, fresh bread deliveries in the morning and a idyllic location. If you're a motorcyclist, it's ideally located for the B500 and a good place to stop en-route to the Alps.

16. November 2020Absolutely recommended! 🙂 I stayed there for 2 nights (in my own tent). The staff is great. Doesn't matter if you speak German or not, English works just as well. The facilities are very clean (bathrooms, showers, laundry room if you're planning a long stay, and an area where you can clean your dishes). There's even a bread service which you can register for and get fresh bread every morning! There's a bus stop just in front of the campsite - ideal if you don't have a car (which was my case, for instance). You also get a visitor's card which allows you to use public transport for free. The location is of course another plus. Several beautiful spots can be reached by foot from the campsite. There's water faucets and electrical sockets almost at every spot. One issue we faced was that our phone charger plugs couldn't charge our phones (I think because the sockets were made for campers/ trailers). But it went fine as we had portable chargers with us. Overall, I really liked this campsite. I'll definitely be staying here again 😀

Beautiful camping in the forest. Our tent was next to the creek and the facilities are very Good. Clean sanitair , little shop, bread in the Morning, restaurant, playing ground, swimmingpool. Very friendly staff!

5. June 2023One of the best Campgrounds we have been to in Germany! Extremely friendly owners, beautifully located at the edge of the black forest in short distance to Freudenstadt, recently renovated, modern & clean facilities, offering all kinds of leisure activities (volleyball, swimming, ping pong, TV room, ...), lots of seating available (in case you did not bring any chairs) and a very well equipped shop! If you are into Camping, it doesn't get better than this! Highly recommended!

Langenwald Campsite, nestled in a beautiful valley, fully deserves the word "natur" in its name. The pitches are laid out as if nature had planned them. Spacious, providing privacy, and with electricity and water connections. A restaurant serving meals, a swimming pool, a shop, spotlessly clean and warm bathrooms, and friendly, smiling, and helpful staff made us feel safe and very comfortable at the campsite. We camped on a pitch directly adjacent to the stream that flows through the campsite, its murmuring stream providing a pleasant respite after returning from the trail. And there's plenty of room for hiking. I recommend a walk to Lake Langbrunnenweiher, which you can walk around. For hikers and cyclists, the area around the campsite is a true paradise. Excellently groomed and maintained forest roads, trails, shelters offering shelter, and above all, silence, birdsong, and the scent of the forest. We also received a healthy dose of fatigue, after all, these are mountains. It was so wonderful that we did not want to leave because we experienced true and authentic comfort and happiness from people and nature.
