Our campsite combines authentic nature experiences with modern comforts and is ideal for anyone who loves camping in the Black Forest and spending time in the great outdoors – whether you’re staying in a tent, caravan or motorhome.
Dogs are very welcome here, and families with children will also find the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. The stream and the nature trail are real highlights for children who love exploring the great outdoors.
Outdoor enthusiasts will be in their element here: numerous hiking and cycling trails in the Black Forest start right at the campsite. Whether it’s leisurely walks, challenging hikes or trips to the nearby Black Forest National Park – nature begins right on our doorstep.

A third-generation family business
The Natur‑Camping Langenwald has been run by the Eiermann family since 1974 – now in its third generation. Our campsite was established on the historic grounds of the Schleh sawmill, a place long connected to nature and traditional craftsmanship. What began as a small family business has grown into a lovingly developed campsite that combines tradition, closeness to nature, and modern hospitality.

One of the best sites we have stayed on for freindly staff service. Cleanliness, facilities, including dog wash with mixer tap. Our dog hates dog washes as they're usually cold. This one was temperature selectable, she quite liked it. Bike station with tools and pump. Everything has been well thought out. From drying room, washing machine facilities to cooking facilities for campers. We can't thank the owners enough for how they treated us.

We were lucky to get a last-minute camping pitch for a 5-day stay during a public holiday week. The location is pretty awesome and the campsite is well maintained. It certainly has the wow factor on arrival! Lusciously green with flowers, shady trees, a meandering stream and stunning forest backdrop. Generous-size pitches, which is great. Our plot was a particularly large and shady area at the end of a row, fairly calm without a lot of passers-by and that worked out well having our two dogs with us on the camping trip. There is a small lake that's easily accessible from the campsite, very convenient for dog walks. The woodland tracks are popular for cyclists too. The luxury shower block was the best I have experienced at a campsite, a real treat! Great to enjoy a refreshing local beer at the campsite restaurant. We ordered freshly-baked rolls and pastries each morning for breakfast, along with the delicious homemade strawberry jam from the shop. Aside from that, it was necessary to make a trip into town to pick up groceries for the week as the onsite shop is quite limited. A mini grocery store would have been ideal. All in all, highly recommend this campsite, it's fabulous!

1. July 2023A great camping with all the facets of both nature and luxury. With our little sibbe we went here for the midsummer equinox. Even their designated fireplace is filled with good fibes and spirit. Definitely a must go for people who are into heathenry, paganism and nature. Update: 5 years later and with kids. Still great

Beautiful, clean campsite! Facilities were clean and well heated, very friendly and helpful staff. We had a spacious pitch next to the creek with beautiful views of the forest all around.

31. October 2024Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and we'll maintained facilities. Some of the showers and toilets make you feel like you're in a hotel! The surrounding area is gorgeous with many bike and walking trails; there are several grens walks, which take you deep into the forest and have old greens posts that date back to the 17th and 18th century. It's only a 20 minute bike ride, or 1 hour walk to Freudenstadt. Some of the camping places are bit busier than the rest, so try and get a quieter place if possible.
